What is a Virtual Private Server?

A virtual private server acts just like a normal dedicated server apart from the fact it isn't on it's own dedicated machine - there are several hosted on the same machine. Each server is however isolated and separate from the others and the end user gets full root access - just like purchasing a dedicated server without the cost!

We at A2B2 make sure that our servers are up to date when it comes to both hardware and software configuration. By following today's trends we use Quad Core CPU based servers with hard drives placed in RAID arrays. This assures maximum performance and redundancy for our customers. In addition to this we keep our VPS nodes (servers) under normal load with a small number of accounts per machine, to guarantee stability and reliability of the service!

What technical support is provided?

By default we provide a basic level of technical support. We will help with any problems related to the default software and do our best to help with any other issues that may occur. We don't cover anything proactive - so things like software updates will be your responsibility. If you opt for a basic managed service we recommend that you have at least basic knowledge of the operating system you choose.
